- Customer support communications
- Service updates
- Requested follow-ups
- Transactional notifications
- Billing or subscription-related notices
- Marketing or promotional messages where separately authorized
- Other communications you have requested or consented to receive
The types of messages you receive depend on the services you use and the permissions or consent you have provided.
2Consent to Receive SMS Messages
By providing your mobile telephone number and affirmatively opting in where required, you authorize 255 to send SMS or MMS messages to the number you provided.
Consent may be provided through methods such as:
- Website forms
- Account registration
- Appointment or booking forms
- Written agreements
- Digital consent forms
- Other clear opt-in mechanisms provided by 255
Your consent applies only to the communications described at the time consent is obtained.
3Marketing Consent
Where marketing or promotional SMS messages are offered, we will seek the consent required by applicable law.
By expressly consenting to marketing SMS messages, you authorize 255 to send promotional or marketing text messages to the mobile number you provided.
Consent to receive marketing text messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services.
Where applicable, consent records may include information such as the date, time, method, and source of the opt-in.
4Automated Messages
Where clearly disclosed at the time of consent, some messages may be sent using automated technology.
By providing the applicable consent, you authorize 255 to use automated technology to deliver the communications covered by that consent.
The use of automated technology does not change your right to opt out of applicable SMS communications.
5Message Frequency
Message frequency varies depending on your interactions with 255, the services you use, appointments, account activity, and the types of communications you have requested.
255 does not guarantee a specific number of messages.
6Message and Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply.
Your mobile carrier's standard messaging, data, and other charges may apply to messages you send or receive.
255 is not responsible for charges imposed by your wireless carrier.
Contact your wireless carrier if you have questions regarding your mobile plan.
7How to Opt Out
You may opt out of applicable SMS communications at any time by replying:
STOP
to a message where this functionality is supported.
After submitting an opt-out request, you may receive a confirmation message indicating that your opt-out has been processed.
We will honor applicable opt-out requests as required by law.
Opting out of one SMS program or category may not necessarily cancel communications from a separate program for which you independently provided consent, where permitted by law.
